A couple that laughs together, stays together. At least in my experience! I had so much fun getting to capture Casey and Tessa’s gorgeous wedding earlier this year. These two met back in 2014 and had their first date at the bowling alley. Four years later, Casey popped the question on New Year’s Eve. Soon after, it was time to start planning their dream wedding and that’s when I was asked to help document it all!
The day started off at St Patrick Catholic Church in downtown Portland for the ceremony. There were so many thoughtful details throughout the day to really make their wedding day special. Tessa decided to do a first look with her dad that had us all tearing up, and saved the first look with Casey until she walked down the aisle. Tessa’s grandmother was their honorary flower girl (she rocked the role if I do say so myself!) While she wasn’t able to toss her petals inside the church, she definitely made good use of them during the photos post ceremony. Once we got to the Portland Golf Club, they danced the night away in their beautiful reception (also filled with fun details, plenty of good food and drinks, and even a photo booth!). At the end of the night, they were whisked away to their own happily ever after in a stunning classic car as an homage to Casey’s love of old cars. The whole day was so much fun and we couldn’t stop laughing and smiling together. A perfectly romantic wedding for this incredibly sweet couple.
