Dreamy Big Sur Elopement

Jackie & Anthony’s dreamy Big Sur elopement was definitely everything and more! A short notice elopement that and turned into an intimate day that I may never forget!

After getting engaged at Convict Lake (a stunning and super special place to the two of them) Jackie and Anthony decided that they wanted a similar vibe for their big day. Intimate, surrounded by nature, and super personal. Not that they didn’t want to share the special occasion with their many extended family members and close friends, though. They ended up following up their elopement with a reception a few weeks later- complete with a taco man (my FAVE!).

HOW THE DAY WENT…

This intimate little elopement started off at the location where the pair and their guests were staying, Ragged Point Inn, with getting ready and a first look overlooking the most epic of waterfalls and view of the Pacific Ocean. Jackie wore a stunning, fitted Grace Loves Lace gown with a copper and white bouquet made of florals that we had grabbed that week at the LA Flower mart. Fun fact, I had assembled it myself the night before I drove up! Anthony wore a classic black suit and bowtie from a shop on Santee St. in DTLA.

After their first look, we headed to where the ceremony would take place – Limekiln State Park – to a spot that the two had scouted out a couple months before. The ceremony itself took place right off the side of the hiking trail, parallel to a creek and the most beautiful forest of trees!

After the ceremony and exchange of vows, we grabbed some gorgeous bridal portraits in the trees AND beach- yes, my nature loving heart’s mecca- then everyone headed to the reception dinner at Tree Bones Resort where an epic sunset and equally epic meal was waiting for us.
