Government Cove Oregon Engagement Session

Lexi and Sam first met while saving lives together (literally!) as mental health therapists at the same treatment center. These two love birds met about 2.5 years ago and share a love for the great outdoors and classic Disney movies. As if these two sweethearts couldn’t get any cuter, Sam popped the question on their 2 year anniversary while finding their tree at the Christmas tree farm. Talk about a Hallmark movie moment! When it came time for us to nail down their Oregon engagement session location, we landed on Government Cove in the Columbia River Gorge. This spot is one of my FAVORITES as there are so many great spots to take photos in. Mountain views, views of the Columbia River, and even whimsical forest spots- this place has it all. A must see whether you are getting photos taken here or just looking for a dreamy date idea!

When we were planning their Government Cove Oregon engagement session, Lexi and Sam wanted to incorporate a special gift they received from close friends: a bottle of their favorite champagne! I’m never one to turn down a good champagne pop, so I happily obliged. The results were fabulous. We managed to get the perfect champagne pop right at the peak of golden hour. After the bubbles settled, we toasted to their future and all of the beautiful memories yet to come. These two were just the sweetest, and I had so much fun capturing their love story. When you have a couple who’s love is this infectious, it makes my job SO much easier. I couldn’t wait to capture their fall wedding later in the year!
