Cannon Beach is one of my favorite spots for couple’s photography, and it’s not too hard to see why! Who doesn’t love walking in the sand or hearing the the crashing waves. Plus, the Oregon coastline is just SO different from other parts of the west coast (trust me, this SoCal born and raised gal knows her beaches!). When Sarah and Nathan were planning a little getaway out to Cannon Beach, they reached out to me for an adventure session. Sarah and Nathan have been married for 4 years, and met when they were students at Texas A&M. If you look closely, you can see they are both wearing their class rings! They traveled all the way from Dallas, Texas and wanted to have some photos taken to commemorate the special trip. This was their first time visiting and we had such a blast getting to enjoy the area together.
Due to weather and timing, we decided on a sunrise session and wow am I happy we did! We had the best time running around the beach and capturing some golden morning light! While most couples pine over some dreamy sunset photos, I like to suggest sunrise for a more intimate session. There’s usually little to no people around, and then you have the whole day ahead of you to have an adventure! The fresh morning glow is honestly so beautiful and really feels like you are transported away.
Thinking about having your own little sunrise session? Let’s chat! This golden light brings out all the feels!
