Sunset Cliffs San Diego Photographer

Every session I have is so beautiful, but this one was especially special to me. Mariah is my best friend from college (9 years and going strong!), and I was honored to get to photograph her and her partner, Joe, while I was in San Diego a few months ago. Mariah and I both attended Point Loma Nazarene University, where we met in the Fashion program. PLNU is right by Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, so this location was the perfect choice for their photos. We actually spent many days walking the cliffs together to grab coffees or eating burritos on the cliffs at sunset. It was so much fun getting to see Mariah and Joe and even spend time with them at their new apartment. Many of my friends are still single (no pressure ladies 😉 ), so it was really special to get to photograph a close friend like Mariah with her significant other. And as an Oregon and San Diego photographer, it was such a joy to get to come back to my roots for this session.

Sunset Cliffs not only has sentimental value to me, but it’s such a beautiful location for couples’ and engagement photography. There are so many amazing photo ops and the light is just gorgeous! Plus you can’t beat those views.
