Postlewait’s Country Wedding Photography

July 2, 2021

Sometimes life just does not go according to plan, and for Megan and Matt, being flexible is key to staying sane. Originally, the plan was to have a destination wedding in Hawaii. When COVID hit, plans changed, and they decided to go for a somewhat “destination” of Temecula, California. Well, third time’s the charm, and a third reschedule led them here to Postlewait’s Country Weddings in Canby, Oregon. Although it definitely looked a lot different than the original plan, I have to say, their Postlewait’s Country Wedding Photography was still absolutely beautiful.

As was mentioned in several of the speeches made by friends and family, third time was really the charm and the whole day felt as if it was meant to happen that way all along. Their wedding day was so full of fun and laughter and tons of love. And Megan and Matt were just the SWEETEST people to follow around all day. One of my favorite memories of the day was right before their first look together, Megan chose to do a special look with her dad. Talk about a real tear jerker to start the day!

They both told me when we first started working together that their favorite trait in each other was their smile. and man, they were all smiles the whole day (can’t you tell by their bridal portraits below?!). What started out as a joke impulse (downloading and creating a Tinder profile) has now turned into a real life love story + happily ever after and I am forever thankful that it is my job to document stories like these.
