One of the perks of living in Oregon is having access to lots of snow covered areas! When it was time for Jess and Blake to plan their Mt Hood engagement session, they had one request- “We have to have pictures in the snow!”
Yeah, I think we can arrange that.
The day we went, it was PACKED! There were cars everywhere and many of them were slipping around from all the ice. Now I want to remind you that I am a Southern California girl born and raised, so to say that I was nervous would be an understatement. Thankfully, we all made it to our location at White River Sno Park safely and started scouting out some perfect, secluded spots. The snow was fresh and beautiful, although, at times we were up to our waist in it. I brought my husband and my husky along to help, and the 5 of us had a blast. My stomach seriously hurt afterwards from all of the uncontrollable laughing and falling over in snow. A little tip if you are wanting to take photos in the snow- make sure to bring some extra clothes or towels! Because you will definitely need them.
After getting all of the sweet romantic pictures we needed, I asked them what they wanted to finish their session with. Immediately they both grinned and said “snowball fight!” The result was so fun and playful, and really shows off their lighthearted personalities. We had such a blast and ended up with some incredibly romantic photos!
